The Dysart Arms Petersham
Children at The Dysart Arms Families with children are welcome in The Dysart Arms. We have high chairs for the very young and family gatherings are a regular feature of lunch on weekends, high days and holidays. There are baby changing facilities in both the ladies’ and gentlemens’ washrooms. We ask parents, for the comfort, relaxation and pleasure of all our customers – and the safety of children, other customers and our team here, to ensure that their children sit with them at their table, both in the garden and inside. For legal reasons children are not allowed at the bar itself and we ask parents to help us with this. A member of our team will take your orders at the table. Half the interior of The Dysart Arms, around the fireplace and the piano, and the dining room upstairs when open is reserved for customers unaccompanied by children. In the evening, in the garden and inside, children over the age of 12 are welcome with their parents and again, we ask that they are at table as a family group during the evening. Families with children under 12 are asked to time their visit so that they can leave 8:00pm generally and by about 7:30pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A late afternoon/supper menu is available after lunch up to 6:00pm and the dinner menus are available from 6:00pm so that an early family supper is always possible. Obviously we do ask that babies in distress are comforted promptly so that other customers are not disturbed. Richmond Park faces The Dysart Arms and there is a play area for young children just inside the gates so that there is always an outlet for natural exuberance. We like to use discretion in the application of this policy – in the interests of all our customers. We
